Pausing and resuming the test

It is possible for a learner to pause their test to take a break.

All answers up to the point the assessment is paused are saved. When the test is resumed the learner returns to the question they were on when the test was paused.

Pausing the test

To pause the test the learner should:

Click on the Tools menu in the top right of the page.

Select the Pause icon on the drop-down menu that appears.

A message will appear asking the learner to confirm if they want to pause the test.

Select Yes.

Resuming the test

The learner will automatically be taken back to the learner home page.

A Resume test button will be on display.

When the learner is ready to restart:

Select Resume test.

The learner will be returned to the question they were on when the test was paused.
