Trials: How questions are marked

For trials the questions can be marked in 2 different ways.  

Where questions are responded to by making selections i.e. multiple-choice questions, these are marked automatically by the system and checked by our internal team. 

Where a learner can enter a more open response, such as by typing or where multiple responses could be correct, these questions will be marked by our internal team. 

Throughout the trials we will be monitoring the types of responses learners give to different questions so that we can develop more accurate marking by the system and well-developed mark schemes.
