NFER Online Assessments are available to purchase either as individual tokens or three year subscriptions, enabling you to decide which option best aligns with the assessment strategy for your organisation.

The table below outlines the features of both tokens and subscriptions options and who they are suitable for.

Tokens

Subscriptions

What does a token or subscription cover?

One token provides a single reading or maths assessment for one pupil.

Tokens can be used flexibly across year groups and terms.

A three-year subscription covers assessments across all three terms for a selected year group and subject.

For example, a year 5 reading subscription covers autumn, spring, and summer assessments for the next three years.

How long is a token or subscription valid for?

Each token is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Each subscription is valid for three years from the date of purchase.

Which option is best for me?

Schools/trusts who want to use online assessments for all three terms or on a term-by-term basis.

Schools/trusts who want to commit to long term use of online assessments.
