Modified on Thu, 7 Nov at 2:51 PM

A teacher can reset a test so it is possible for the learner to retake.

Resetting a test will lose any responses that have previously been entered by the learner.

Resetting a test is run from the View Test Status Page.

Navigating to the View Test Status Page

  • Log into NOA and select Trials from the left-hand side menu.
  • Select View test status page.
  • Select the assessment where learners have already been assigned and confirmed.
  • Select the View test status button.

Select a Learner

On the View Test Status page:

  • Select a learner - only one learner can be selected at a time.
  • Use the search box to find a learner - the learners displaying in the table will update automatically as text is entered.
  • Select Reset test.

Reset
The test or tests which the learner has been allocated to will display.

A test can only be selected if it has a status of Completed or Marked complete.

Only one test can be selected at a time.

Enter a reason why the test is being reset. There is a character limit of 150 characters in the reason field.

  • Select Save.

The test will show on the View Test Status page as Not started.

The learner will be able to retake the test on the learner portal.

Passcodes

If the learner has one or more tests within an assessment that they have not yet completed they will be able to log into the learner portal with their original passcode.

If the learner has already completed all the tests within their assessment the original passcode will no longer be valid and will need resetting.

Resetting a passcode is completed by selecting an individual on the passcodes page and selecting reset.
