Features to turn off in Safari on iPad

1. Select ‘Settings’  A logo of a clock

2. Select 'General'

3. Select 'Keyboard'


4. Turn off the following: 

  • Auto correction 
  • Predictive Text 
  • Show Maths Results 
  • Check Spelling 
  • Smart Punctuation

On some models you may be able to access this screen from your on-screen keyboard by selecting the the Switch Keyboard key, Picture, Pictureicon to the left of the spacebar. 

When you turn off predictive text, iPad may still try to suggest corrections for misspelled words.   

To accept a correction, enter a space or punctuation, or tap Return. To reject a correction, tap the “x”. If you reject the same suggestion a few times, iPad stops suggesting it.
