
To view or change the academic year start date set for your account, the Establishment Administrator role is required.
If your academic year begins on any date in September, there is no need to change the academic year start date.
To view the academic year start date for your account select Administration from the left-hand menu and then Account details on the submenu. The academic year start date is displayed on screen.
In Account details, the academic year start date is set as a default to the 1st September. This is the date used to reset learner selection and to reset the Assessment information on the Home page to ensure information on the current academic year. Resetting learner selection and the Assessment information will take place in the early hours of the academic year start date.
If your establishment’s academic year starts in a month other than September, then we advise changing the academic year start date in Account details.
To ensure up to date information, this change must be made before the default start date of 1st September to a future date to reflect the new academic year. For example, if your establishment’s academic year begins on the 15th August, then the academic year start date must be changed before the 15th August. If the change is made after the start date set, the date set will apply to the next academic year; incorrect Assessment information may be seen on the Home page for the current year.
