Allocating learners to an assessment

To allocate learners to an assessment: 

  • Select NFER Online Assessments from the left-hand side menu.
  • Select Allocate learners to an assessment. 

 

 

The select assessment screen will open. 

  • Select the Assessment you wish to access from the card menu.
  • Select the Select learners button. 

 

Find Learners  

  • Learner names will be displayed in the table.
  • Any learner showing as ticked has already been allocated to the assessment.
  • To view more learners at a glance, amend the number of learners on display in the table by changing the number of entries using the drop-down menu.
  • All columns of information are sortable by clicking into the column heading.
  • Use the search box to find a specific learner by name - the learners on display will update automatically according to the text entered into the search box. 

 

 

Select learners 

  • Ensure all required learners for the assessment are ticked.
  • If search filters have been used the Select all button will tick those learners that match the filters only.
  • Select Review selection. 

 

 

  

Review selection  

  • To remove any learners who will not be taking the assessments select a learner using the checkbox and then Remove selected learners.
  • To assign extra time (25%) select a learner using the check box and select Extra time.
  • The Extra time allocated displays in the table. 

 

Select Confirm   

  • Select confirm.
  • The passcodes page will automatically generate. 
No learners will be allocated to the assessment or removed until Confirm is selected.
