Navigating the platform

Log into the Establishment Portal  

  • The home page will display and the establishment name will be visible. 
  • The main menu is visible on the left-hand side of the screen. 
  • There is a link in the header to the learner login page. 
  • Set or amend a learner selection from the Home page. 


 

 

 

Administration 

 

 

  • Selecting Learners will open the learner management page.


 

 


  • Selecting Staff will open staff management.


 

 

 

NOA (NFER Online Assessments) 

  • Select NOA.
  • A secondary menu will open with options to navigate to Allocate learners to an assessment, View passcodes, Familiarisation materials) View test status, and Marking.
  • Once a menu option is selected, select an assessment to continue. 

 

 

 

 

Reports 

  • Select reports and the secondary menu option Select report to generate a report. 

 

 

 

Header 
  • Selecting the NFER icon will return the user to the home page. 

 

 

 

Help 

  • Select the Help widget to get support – this appears on every page. 

 

 

  • The knowledge base contains articles, which provide guidance on Getting Started and all the key functionality of both the Establishment and Learner Portals.
  • The articles are grouped into categories.
  • Use the search bar to find an article by keywords.
  • Contact details displayed for gaining additional support.
  • Select New support ticket to log a query with our dedicated support agents. 

 

User Profile 

  • View role type - administrator or teacher.
  • Log out

  • Links to view NFER privacy notice, terms and conditions and copyright information.
