Curriculum area - all learners report

Modified on Tue, 20 Aug at 4:50 PM

The Curriculum area – all learners report provides a summary of how the learners in a selection have performed in each curriculum area as well as a breakdown by individual learner.

After selecting the report from the report screen in NOA, there will be a prompt to select an assessment, if not already chosen. (see Select assessment or learner name) The report data will then display for all the learners in the selection for whom marking is complete.

The key in this report is used to compare both individual and group learner performance against the national average of the standardisation sample.

The summary table displays the number of marks available for each curriculum area together with the average for the learner selection and for the standardisation sample. The colour highlight corresponds with the highlight in the Curriculum area – summary report, showing how the average of the learner selection performance compares with the standardisation sample.

The main table lists all the learners in the learner selection and gives an individual breakdown to show how many marks each learner achieved in each curriculum area.

The colour highlights in this table are for the individual learners and compare their performance against the average of the standardisation sample.

The mark thresholds for the different categories are therefore different to the mark thresholds comparing the learner selection averages.

This table makes it easy to identify curricula strengths and weaknesses for individuals as well as to identify individuals who would benefit from interventions or targeted support.

The search box at the top of the table can be used to search for specific learners by starting to type their name in the box. All the columns can be sorted which can help to group learners by their strengths and weaknesses in the different curriculum areas. Blank cells in the table indicate teacher marking is not yet complete for a learner for question(s) within a particular curriculum area.

For the demo account, the assessments are for example only and have not been trialled and standardised. All standardisation data provided is mocked up and for illustrative purposes only.
