Individual learner responses report

Modified on Fri, 7 Feb at 11:02 AM

The Individual learner responses report shows how an individual learner responded to each question in a test.

After selecting the Individual learner responses report from the report screen in NOA:

  • If an assessment has not been selected, there will be a prompt to select a test and a learner. The report will then display for the selected learner.

As for the Question level reports, this report displays as soon as a learner has completed a test.

  • The report displays all questions in a test with the learner response.
  • Most autoscored questions will also show if the learner got the question correct or incorrect.
  • If incorrect, the correct response is also shown.

Example of a credit-worthy learner response

  • The tick in the box is the response given by the learner.
  • The tick to the right indicates this is correct.

Some questions have a tick in a green box at the top of the question to indicate the learner has scored marks.

  • If a question is worth 2-marks, the tick in the green box will display for both fully correct responses and for partially correct responses scoring 1 mark.

Example of a non-creditworthy learner response.

  • The cross in the red box at the top indicates the learner has not scored marks.
  • The learner has got the second word incorrect, and the correct response is given in the yellow box below.

For teacher marked questions, and where not possible for autoscored questions, only the learner response is shown.

  • To see the correct response for these questions, the mark scheme can be downloaded from the Test Selection page in Marking.
  • The mark scheme can also be useful for checking responses that are awarded partial credit for questions worth 2 marks or more.
  • Alternatively, individual questions with an example of a good creditworthy response can be viewed in the Question level reports in the Reports area of NOA.
  • If a response is omitted, the answered question will be displayed.
  • If a learner omits all the questions in a test marked as complete, the Individual learner response report will not be available.
