Attainment snapshot - summary report

Modified on Fri, 29 Aug at 9:55 AM

The Attainment snapshot – summary report displays the averages for the learner selection across an academic year for all selected year groups.

After selecting the report from the report screen in NOA, the report data will display for all the learners in the selection for whom marking is complete. All year groups can be selected to view in one report providing a snapshot of information at a given point in time for a school. Alternatively the report can display a chosen selection of year groups.

In the example below, Years 3 to 6 have been selected, a total of 240 learners. The key in this report compares the average learner selections’ performance against the national average of the standardisation sample.

This report has a button from which the learner selection can be changed. There is also a filter button to filter by the different learner characteristics.

The example below shows the main table in the report for Years 3 and 4 for a school that has taken both maths and reading assessments. The cells are blank for the Summer term showing that these assessments have not yet been taken. For Year 3 Reading in the Spring term the asterisk by the number of learners (58*) indicates the average for this term is based on an incomplete learner selection because there is teacher marking outstanding for some learners. The reading average for Year 3 is inline compared to the standardisation sample, whereas the reading average for Year 4 is above the average of the standardisation sample. The Year 3 average could change after the completion of the teacher marking for Year 3 Reading.
