The majority of reports can be filtered to drill down by pupil characteristics by selecting the Filter button on the top left.
This is an example from the Attainment – all learners report.
- When the filter button is selected a drop-down menu will display.
- The categories shown are those available for the displayed report.
- All the information comes from the CTF or Excel file for the learner upload. The more information provided in the upload, the greater the options for filtering.
- Alternatively, this information can be input directly into the NOA platform one learner at a time by selecting ‘Administration’ from the menu bar, and Learners from the sub-menu, and then editing individual learners.
- When a category is selected from the filter menu, the report display will change to show the data for this set of learners only.
- The filter button will also turn bright blue with a number to show how many filters have been selected.
In this example from the Curriculum area – all learners report two filter categories have been selected. The data in the report is just for the two learners who have both SEN support and are Pupil premium.
- If the View summary button is clicked, the report will switch directly to the Curriculum area – summary report for these same two learners.
This provides an easy way of toggling between an all learner and summary report. In this example, a quick and straightforward way of identifying the overall curriculum areas that these two learners would benefit from support. The question level reports also have this toggle feature.
- When the filter button is clicked again, the Clear all button that appears at the bottom of the filters, will clear the selected filters to view the report for the whole group/class again.
